Chinatown’s Moon Festival: A Fun Family Event

These balmy nights are perfect for street food and music. So hop on the LA Metro Gold Line to the Chinatown station for Chinatown’s 75th annual Moon Festival on Saturday, September 21.

The festivities run from 5 p.m. to midnight — and Metro trains run until 2 a.m. on Saturday nights.

You’ll find food trucks, cooking demonstrations and samples, live music and DJs, crafts, moon viewing and moon cakes — a flaky pastry filled with bean paste.
