Museums of the Arroyo Day, Sunday, May 21
Step back in time on Sunday when six unique history-based museums will be free from noon to 5 pm, in celebration of the annual Museums of the Arroyo Day.
Easily accessible from Metro Gold Line Memorial Park and Southwest Museum stations, with free shuttles running between museums. Continue reading

No Pants Metro Ride Takes Off Again
Cheeky Metro Riders Doff Their Pants
On Sunday afternoon, January 8, 2016, hundreds of Metro patrons will take off their pants and ride the rails from Union Station to Santa Monica.
A cross-section of LA Metro riders will be displaying their underwear: men and women, toddlers and seniors. A good time will be had by all.

Hundreds Crammed into First Train for May 20 Ride
After six decades, you can once again ride the rails between Downtown Los Angeles and Downtown Santa Monica following much of the route of the old Red Cars.
The crowds on the platforms at Culver City Station and the following six stations were nothing compared to the huge, boisterous group waiting at the Santa Monica Downtown Station. Fortunately, the weather was sunny, with a cool sea breeze helping to keep the wait comfortable.
