Union Station is celebrating its 75th anniversary this weekend.

It’s Party Time at Union Station!

Union Station is celebrating its 75th birthday with a big party on Saturday, May 3, 2014, from 10 am to 4 pm. Everyone is invited to this free public event.

There will be lots of music and family activities, and docents will provide historical information in several station areas.

Along with Metrolink, Amtrak is joining in the celebration with National Train Day and is bringing several vintage and modern train cars to visit.

How to get to Union Station:

The Red, Purple, and Gold Lines stop at Union Station. The Expo and Blue Lines connect to the Red and Purple Lines at 7th/Metro Station. Additionally, a number of Metro and other bus lines stop at Union Station.
